Cuddle Puddle

a platonic intimacy experience

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and interpersonal exploration in "The Cuddle Puddle: A Platonic Intimacy Experience." This immersive experience is designed to deepen your understanding of platonic intimacy, boundaries, consent, and somatic modalities in a safe and supportive environment.

Through a combination of interactive exercises, group discussions, and experiential learning, participants will cultivate the skills and awareness necessary for authentic connection without the pressure of romantic expectations.

Facilitated by an experienced somatic practitioner, Jessica Langley, "Cuddle Puddle" offers a space for individuals to explore their relationship with touch, consent, and embodiment. You'll learn practical techniques for communicating boundaries, recognizing and respecting the boundaries of others, and embodying consent in every interaction.

Whether you're seeking to enhance your friendships, improve your communication skills, or simply connect with others on a deeper level, "Cuddle Puddle" provides the tools and insights you need to navigate platonic intimacy with confidence and respect.

The Cuddle Puddle was created: to help heal our community through a collaborative social happening, rooted in values of respect, vulnerability, and mutual care. The importance of touch in our culture has been undervalued, and the lasting effects of social isolation is seen in the mental well-being of our communities.

Together we will foster a warm, inviting, and healing environment for us to share in this unique event. Join us and embark on a transformative journey toward more meaningful and fulfilling connections.

If you....

• want to connect with an inspiring community

• need a safe place to relax and rejuvenate

• desire physical contact with other people in a non-sexual way

• want to stretch out of your comfort zone

• often find yourself in the role of caretaker, but need a turn to be taken care of

• long to experience the benefits of nurturing and healing touch

....then this platonic touch workshop may be just what you have been looking for.

What is the Cuddle Puddle?

Group of people lying on blankets and pillows on the floor, hugging and cuddling, in a cozy room with string lights on the wall.

Practice saying YES to what you want, and NO to what you do not.

Group of people sleeping and relaxing on couches and beds in a cozy indoor setting.

01 / Embodied Consent

I prioritize somatic consent education as part of the preparation of the Cuddle Puddle container. I lead everyone through an embodiment meditation in order to help people stay grounded so that they can feel the felt sense of their YES and their NO.

People lying down closely together, some with their arms intertwined, on a variety of blankets and mats, possibly relaxing or resting.

02 / Expert Facilitation

Led by experienced educator and somatic intimacy coach, Jessica Langley, who knows how to create a safe container, hold space, and encourage participation without obligation.

03 / Authentic Connection

Connection is a core part of the process, and that happens when you can show up as your authentic self. If you arrive feeling anxious, excited, nervous, sad, joyful…it’s all welcome. We just want you to be YOU!

✳︎ TESTIMONIALS ✳︎

“I think the event was incredibly well curated and it felt really organic the way we all connected with each other. I definitely appreciate the intentionality both around the preparation in advance as well as the attunement to each individual and meeting their needs in the moment. I'm hoping to participate again at a future event.”

— Elspeth O., Cuddle Puddle Attendee

“Jessica created a safe space for exploring consensual platonic touch, which I found to be relaxing and therapeutic. The structure of the event was thoughtfully designed to break down the societal barriers that prohibit us from experiencing the healing power of touch in our normal day to day lives. Jessica remained attuned to each person’s individual needs and comfort level throughout, while maintaining an environment that was free from any stress or tension. This balancing act demonstrated her professionalism and experience. The music playing was a thoughtful mix of serenity and rhythmic energy, providing the proper backdrop for each moment of the workshop. I often find myself too stuck in my own headspace, but by the end of the event I felt a somatic awareness that I rarely achieve on my own. I recommend this event to anyone who finds themselves touch deprived and in need of human connection.”
